La Mauvaise Réputation 2019
Price: ¥3,630 (incl. tax)
La Mauvaise Réputation 2019 - Les Sabots d'Hélène
Grape: 100% Carignan.
Full bodied red wine.
Wine Description:
The name of the wine means The Bad Reputation in French. It is a nod to when the grape variety Carignan was looked down on by the Châteaux. It was used as a “filler” to be added to more noble varieties such as Grenache or Cabernet and thus increase output.
This Carignan is amazing on its own, with a great aromatic profile of slightly unripe red berries and some herbaceous notes. A delicious red, to be enjoyed as is or with dishes that have a strong presence, such as red meats or spicy dishes.
This wine will benefit from being aerated in a carafe about an hour before tasting. Ideal serving temperature is 16 °.
Zero added sulfites, zero added anything.
